Summary of the book little prince: ISA LIMA

The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint - Exupéry
This is the story of a prince who lived on a small planet. The anonymous narrator meets the little prince when his plane crashes in the Sahara Desert.
The narrator strives to fix his plane when he heard a small voice asking him to draw a sheep. The narrator turns and sees the little prince.

The narrator discovered that the prince came from a planet so small that he could watch the sunset any time you want, just having to turn around. The reason why he wanted was a sheep because sheep eat small plants.
He wanted the sheep to eat the baobabs that were a big problem on your planet. The narrator says the baobab trees are great, but the prince explains that they started small.
However, the prince was worried because sheep also eat flowers, and Prince had a very special flower on your planet, one that he loved so much. The flower, though beautiful and fragrant, was silly and demanding.
Even if naively not afraid of tigers, believing their spines to protect, she demanded that the prince built a screen to protect it from the heat. She told him to put it under a glass sphere at night to protect it from the cold.
Although the prince love her, he got tired of hearing your words and your requirements, so he left the planet.
Before reaching the ground, the prince visited many planets. A king lived on the first planet he visited. The king was happy to have a subject.

The king demanded obedience. He tried to get the prince, but the prince went away, thinking about how old people are weird.
A conceited man occupied the second planet. The conceited man wanted Prince to applaud and salute. The prince grew tired of it, and when he left, he was more convinced than ever that the adults were very strange.
A drunk occupied the third planet. The prince asked why he drank. The drunk replied that he drank to forget he was ashamed for drinking.
The fourth planet was occupied by a business man who did nothing but count stars, saying they were all his. The prince thought that these men were as strange as the others.
The fifth planet was smaller and was only occupied by a lamplighter, whose job was to light the lamp of lonely street. However, the lighter was exhausted, saying that his work had been much better.
He lit the street light at night and put out in the morning, giving you the rest of the day to rest, and he could sleep at night. However, the planet began to spin faster and faster.
The day lasted only one minute, so he had to constantly turn on and off the lamp. The prince felt sorry to have to leave this planet, because the short days meant that he had many sunset.
The sixth planet was larger and occupied by a geographer. But he was unable to tell the little prince anything on your planet, because it was not an explorer.
Instead, he asked the Prince to tell him about your country. The Prince said he was not very interesting, because it was small. The Geographer advised the little prince to visit the earth.
When the prince visited the earth, he saw no one at first. He kept walking and by chance found a rose garden. It was very sad to realize that its flower, which he thought was quite unique, it was just a common rose as those in the garden.
Then he met the fox. He asked the fox to play with him, but the fox said he could not because the fox was not gentle, which the prince did not understand. Fox explained what she meant, and told the Prince that if he wanted a friend, that would captivate you.
Then they would create a bond and would be unique to each other. The prince realized his rose had captivated him. He came back every day to see the fox sitting closer every day, until the fox was captivated to and they became friends. When the prince went away, the fox told him that he was responsible for their pink, because he had captivated.
The Prince found that he needed to go home to take care of your rose. The narrator was very sad, but the prince said that they would always be friends and that every time the narrator to look at the stars, he would think the prince.
In his travels, the prince learns what it means to love someone. He discovers that his rose is so important to him, even though sometimes it is difficult. People who live alone in the prince visit planets seem to be a metaphor for loneliness and isolation among adults.
The king, the conceited man and others get stuck in one way of looking at themselves and interact with the few people they encounter, and are unable to genuinely communicate. They did not keep any open mind who may have had as children.
The prince comes out of the whole experience is worth believing that loving someone, even if it sometimes bring sadness.

According summary:

"The Little Prince" was written and illustrated by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry a year before his death in 1944. Airplane pilot during the Second World War, the author became the narrator of the story, which begins with an adventure lived in the desert after a crash in the middle of the Sahara.
One morning, it is agreed by the Little Prince, who asks: "Draw me a sheep"? Therein begins the account of the fantasies of a child as the other, which questions the simplest things of life with purity and naivety.
The principezenho had left his small planet, where he lived only a rose vain and proud. In his travels across the galaxy, met a number of unusual characters - perhaps not so unusual for kids!
A king thought that they were all his subjects, although there was no one around. A businessman said he was very serious and busy, but had no time to dream.
A drunk drank to forget the shame he felt for drinking. A geographer is wise but said he knew nothing of the geography of their own country. Thus, each character shows how the "big people" care about unnecessary things and do not give the value it deserves. This can all be translated by a phrase fox, a character who teaches the golden-haired boy's secret love:
"Only one sees well with the heart. What is essential is invisible to the eye. "
Antoine de Saint-Exupéry saw adults as people unable to understand the meaning of life because they had ceased to be the child they once were. Understand that it is difficult for adults (which felt strange beings) to understand all the wisdom of a child.
This fable was made movies, cartoons, and adaptations. Many adults today are moved to remember the book. Perhaps because they have become "big people" without forgetting that once were children.
