The third solo album from Justin Timberlake topped expectations and gave the singer the first stop of the U.S. handily.
"The 20/20 Experience" sold 968,000 copies between 19 and 26 and now has become the biggest selling debut week in 2013. From "Red" Taylor Swift, an artist could not reach such a feat.
Among men, the latter achieved this mark was Lil 'Wayne album of 2008 with "Tha Carter III."
The singer also beat his personal record, surpassing the previous records "FutureSex / LoveSounds" with 684,000 copies and "Justified" with 439,000.
